Return from the Azores
More than one year of preparation apparently was well worth the effort. The emphasis was to take pictures of animals of the epipelagical realm freediving. I am really content with the outcome. Even though the field conditions were often tough, such as strong winds, big swells, rain and poor light conditions, the outcome was good. I took some very rare photos of an estimated 800 lbs freeswimming blue marlin and a freeswimming leatherback turtle.
